About Swim Up Punta Cana
One privately owned apartment in Cana Bay, an owner who knows the Dominican Republic well, and a local company that looks after the apartment.
Who we are
Swim Up Punta Cana is the website of one apartment: a privately owned suite in Cana Rock Universe, Cana Bay, Punta Cana, whose private terrace opens straight onto the pool.
The owner
I’m from Switzerland and spend a lot of my time in the Dominican Republic, where I have family. I’ve travelled widely across Latin America, and besides this apartment I also own vacation rentals in Santo Domingo, La Vega and Santiago.
The website and its guides are written and run by me, the owner.
Managed by Golden Vacation Rentals
Day-to-day management, guest contact and the Airbnb listing are handled by the local management company Golden Vacation Rentals. On Airbnb it has 7 years of hosting experience, 1,000+ guest reviews across its listings and a 100% response rate, and answers in English and Spanish.
Host figures from the Airbnb host profile, checked September 23, 2026.
Why this site exists
Airbnb is great for booking, but it leaves a lot of questions unanswered: how the Cana Bay Beach Club works, whether you need a car, what a Hard Rock day pass involves, or whether the hotel is worth it at all. This site answers those questions for guests deciding where to stay, and for guests already on their way.
We are independent. The apartment is not part of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, and this site is not affiliated with Hard Rock, Cana Bay or Airbnb.
How we write our guides
- Official sources first: Hard Rock’s own FAQ and pages, Cana Bay’s owner documents, operators’ own websites.
- Sources and dates on every guide: each guide lists its sources and shows when it was last updated.
- No invented numbers: where a price isn’t published, we say so, and tell you where to check it.
- Corrections welcome: prices and rules here change. If something is out of date, email us and we’ll fix it.
